THURSDAY, JULY 16th

  Mass in honor of Our Lady of Carmen
  Parish of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla
• 20hrs 8pm
  Traditional procession of often 40+ boats along the coast of Sitges. With the image of the Virgin of Carmen, who is honoured with the sound of sirens and laying of a wreath in the sea. In front of Sitges cemetery (in memory fishermen and sailors who lay there and are deceased).

Oldest of traditions, with references (legend) that a British ship, was thankfully saved from a hurricane, by the holy Carmelite Scapular (robe)
