Musical group with dancing and an exhibition of Salsa, Sevillanes, Country and contemporary dance. Organized by the Association of Quint Mar Festival.
Salsa is a syncretic dance form with origins from the Cuban Son (circa 1920s) and Afro-Cuban dance (specifically Afro-Cuban rumba).[citation needed]. It is generally associated with the salsa music style
Sevillanas (Spanish pronunciation: [seβiˈʝanas]) are a type of folk music, sung and written in Seville (Andalusia) in Spain. Historically, they are a derivative of Castilian folk music (seguidilla).
