Around thirty exhibitors from all around Catalunya, the Balearic Islands, Aragon, Galicia and Leon.

Wide variety of artisan produce from various Denominaciones de Origen

Sample Artisan:

•  Cheese (made with milk from goats, sheep and cows)
• Beers
• Wine
• Cava
• Embutidos (sausage and salami)
• Rice and noodles with mushrooms, bread, coca, sweets, honey, jam, and preserves.

Catalunya is a land rich in culinary tradition, with an enviable array of products that are becoming better known throughout the world. The cheese industry is enjoying a revival at the moment. Just as happened with wine, the spreading of a cheese culture means that the artisan cheese makers are becoming more widely appreciated and better known.

Delicatessen Sitges, the artisan cheese fair of Sitges, came about with the intention of providing a platform to promote artisan cheeses and make them more widely known. It has become an iconic fair of our country, as much with the general public as with the professional sector. The final objective is to strengthen, spread and promote the knowledge of the superb artisan cheeses and complementary products that are being made these days, many of which are unknown to the general public. We hope to show that, behind each cheese and artisan product, there are pastures, flocks and herds and skilled makers, a specific culture, and above all a technique and a way of doing things which involves a great deal of hard work and dedication. Every cheese is different and each cheese is the fruit of a passion and made with consummate care.
