Sitges are to participate in a new initiative, the Festival of the Sea, to stimulate the Marine business.

Exhibition of:

• services
• rental boats
• program of interesting activities
• sailing for children and adults with all kinds of facilities

Come and enjoy the sea and navigation.

Les poblacions que participen en aquesta nova proposta són Sitges que acollirà els Festivals entre els dies 18 i 20 maig a Port Ginesta. El cap de setmana abans haurà arrencat a Sant Feliu de Guíxols (11-13 maig) i es tancarà a Cambrils (25- 27 maig)

Seafood Fair in Sitges, the final program ..

Dates: 12 and 13 May
Location: The Frigate

Here the final program:

12 and 13 May 11 to 14:30 and from 17 to 21 hours, the Fair is held in Sitges Maritime Frigate (below the church) will host a fifty stalls from all over Catalonia , Valencia, Balearic Islands, Spanish and French.

During the Fair, plus a great variety of handicraft products and food related products and the sea, visitors can enjoy various workshops and children’s entertainment.

The fair features the collaboration of the City of Sitges Tourism Sitges, the Fishermen’s Association and the marina of Sitges Sitges.

The Fishermen’s Association will organize a demonstration of the gear and an interesting photographic exhibition on the work and techniques of fishing.

The marina of Sitges, located in the East breakwater s / w (first breakwater under the church) will give a baptism of sailing activity on Saturday morning at 11h00 to 14h30 hours. The activity consists in excursions with a craft school (Gamba) for up to 4 people accompanied by the instructor takes the boat. The departures will last 20 minutes. Registration for the activity can be made directly in the marina. Persons aged 7 years and know how to swim

Aquest cap de setmana: Fira Marinera de Sitges, EL PROGRAMA DEFINITIU..

Dates: 12 i 13 de maig
Lloc: La Fragata

Aquí el programa definitiu:

Els dies 12 i 13 de maig d’11 a 14:30 i de 17 a 21 hores, se celebra la Fira Marinera de Sitges a la Fragata (sota l’ església) que acollirà a una cinquantena de parades procedents d’arreu de Catalunya, València, Illes Balears, Castelló i França.

Durant el transcurs de la Fira, a més de trobar una gran varietat de productes d’artesania i d’alimentació i productes relacionats amb el mar, els visitants podran gaudir de diferents tallers i animació infantil.

La fira compta amb la col•laboració de l’Ajuntament de Sitges, de Turisme de Sitges, de la Confraria de Pescadors de Sitges i del Club Nàutic de Sitges.

La Confraria de Pescadors organitzarà una demostració de les arts de pesca i una interessant exposició fotogràfica sobre les tècniques i el treball de la pesca artesanal.

El Club Nàutic de Sitges, ubicat a l’espigó de Llevant s/n (primer espigó de sota l’església) oferirà una activitat de bateig de vela el dissabte al matí en horari de 11h00 a 14h30. L’activitat consisteix en fer sortides amb una embarcació escola (Gamba) amb capacitat per a 4 persones acompanyats de l’instructor que porta l’embarcació. Les sortides tindran una durada de 20 minuts. Les inscripcions per a l’activitat es poden fer directament en el Club Nàutic. Persones majors de 7 anys i que sàpiguen nedar.
