Sitges will host the seventh edition of one of the routes cover most followers of Catalonia

The seventh edition of the Sitges cover to cover, which will take place from 7 to 17 April, with the participation of 36 institutions. This year one of the main innovations is that different bars and restaurants have adapted their culinary creations for people with celiac disease, as part of the cooperation agreement that the Union of Hospitality Sitges has signed with the Celiac Association Catalonia.

The Councillor for Tourism, Aurora Carbonell, invites everyone to enjoy “a dining experience that allows visitors to discover the town while tasting the wide range of tapas circuit Sitges offers.”

As in previous editions, the jury will choose the best technical and popular cover of Sitges. The technical jury formed by Guillermo Neffke, Rosa Maria del Castillo and Tomás Mata this week carried out a blind tasting of tapas in the School of Hospitality Sitges rate caps and determine which will be presented to the semi final . Tapas chosen will participate in the final of the lid of the Year to be held in Sitges in November. The jury has already advanced technical level is very high gastronomy in general. The jury will be the same route that users can decide which is the best cover for them by filling the form that will be available in the same participating establishments.

Last year, the Sitges cover to cover served a total of 61,000 caps, an average of almost 2,000 tapes per establishment.
