International Film Festival of Catalonia
When it comes to a film festival, after approaching 50 years, Sitges has it all.
Especially during some years, where a visit can include sunbathing on the beaches!

Sitges Film Festival ZOMBIE WALK 2015
In 2015… date normally on a Saturday, during Sitges International Film Festival (Subsequently either Sat 10th or 17th of October 2015: Probably 10th)

At St Sebastian beach, during the day - 1k of Zombies!
Often involves over a thousand zombies & a similar amount of audience. Lining the streets of Sitges - Saint Sebastian bay then through town
Goes from next to the beach at St Seb Bay… up the hill through the eerie Gothic Church area, with it’s long history, down the stairs (frequented by Errol Flynn) to the streets & town of Sitges
Additional trains run from Barcelona to Sitges every night during the film festival (last train is often 01:30 am)
Whilst subject to change… awards are given for Best:
Motion Picture / Director / Actor / Actress / Screenplay / Cinematography / Original Score / Short Film / Makeup Effects / Production Design
The festival also presents special awards each year
